The reddish-brown powder comes from the dried fruit of the sumac tree (Rhus coriaria), a plant prized for centuries in Oriental and Mediterranean cuisine. Sumac is a pure, natural spice whose pleasant acidity makes it a great substitute for lemon or vinegar. We love using it to enhance meat, fish, and vegetable dishes, sprinkled over salads or rice. It also unfolds its full aroma when combined with yogurt, hummus, or the popular spice blend "za'atar." Natural scenting without any essential oils: The Monoi de Tahiti oil gives the deodorant cream its delicate scent . It is obtained by maceration from the tiare flower (Gardenia tahitensis). The powdery, gentle scent of the special South Sea flower makes every armpit happy!
To produce the monoi oil used, the flowers of the tiare are picked before dawn and macerated for some time in fresh coconut oil. The flowers release moisturizing and nourishing ingredients and the typical fragrances into the oil.
ACHSELKUSS deodorant creams are highly effective, vegan and are handcrafted in Austria from select raw materials and natural essential oils. The use of synthetic fragrances and preservatives, petroleum products, parabens, silicones, palm fat or aluminum salts is deliberately avoided.

Bamboo salt is a precious sea salt that has been traditionally handcrafted by Buddhist monks in Korea for over 1,000 years. The sea salt is filled into bamboo tubes, sealed with clay, and fired several times in a kiln. Each firing removes impurities while simultaneously increasing the mineral content. Bamboo salt fired twice has a less intense flavor than the nine-fired version. It tastes spicy and slightly sulfurous. Over time, you become accustomed to the distinctive flavor and can even detect a slight sweetness.
