The original citrate alkaline powder: a multi-talent with over 30 health benefits* Dr. Jacob's alkaline powder for alkaline and mineral balance ✓ Premium quality: made from plant and mineral raw materials, minerals from Germany ✓ 95% citrate minerals in natural balance for nerves, muscles and bones* ✓ For skin, hair and nails* ✓ The most potassium-rich alkaline powder with calcium and magnesium in a natural ratio of 3:2 ✓ Targeted compensation for typical mineral deficiencies2 and acid load (PRAL)3 ✓ No additives: no sodium, sugar, sweeteners, artificial flavors, or fillers. No nano-silicon dioxide. ✓ Pleasantly neutral taste with a light, natural citrus note 300 g (66 servings) Targeted alkaline* and mineral balance2 – modeled on nature Do you eat enough vegetables and fruit? Only about one in ten Germans reaches the recommended five servings per day.1 Carrots, apples, and other foods provide valuable minerals such as potassium, calcium, and magnesium. These can support our nerves during stressful times.* But it is precisely then that we often prefer to reach for chips, chocolate, and soft drinks. Dr. Jacob's Base Powder offers simple relief: It combines the most important minerals that are often lacking in our diet. It is modeled on nature: with high levels of potassium and low levels of sodium, a natural calcium and magnesium ratio (3:2), and organic minerals from Germany based on citrate. One serving of Dr. Jacob's Base Powder has an alkaline PRAL value (Potential Acid Load of the Kidneys) of -23.7, which corresponds to 800 g of fruit and vegetables. Thus, just one serving not only helps to compensate for typical deficiencies in these important minerals2 but also to balance the acid load in our usual diet.3 With zinc, Dr. Jacob's Base Powder supports your normal acid-base metabolism. 95% organic citrates – naturally effective in the cell Citrates (salts of citric acid) are found in many foods and are a natural component of our cells. Organic mineral compounds such as citrates are very well absorbed and metabolized by the body. In the mitochondria (cellular power plants), one citrate molecule binds three acid molecules, which are then converted into energy in the citric acid cycle. The citric acid cycle forms the central cycle in human energy metabolism. On the topic of deficiency Magnesium, calcium, and potassium – an ideal trio for muscles and nerves* Potassium, magnesium, and calcium work together to ensure that muscles and nerves function properly. Calcium contributes to normal muscle contraction, while magnesium promotes muscle relaxation and reduces fatigue.* This allows you to tackle your everyday life with more energy* and inner serenity! Why is potassium so important? Potassium is the leading alkaline-forming mineral in our diet and in every cell of the body. We need potassium for our muscles and nerves to function normally and to maintain normal blood pressure. While in Germany, salt (sodium chloride) is consumed significantly too much, potassium is absorbed too little. Hardly anyone in Germany reaches the US Food and Nutrition Board's recommendation of 4.7 g of potassium per day. The refreshing mineral blend for 30 times the health *With the nutrients in Dr. With Dr. Jacob's base powder you can make a scientifically proven contribution to your health and the following normal bodily functions: • support acid-base metabolism – with zinc • support muscle function – with potassium, magnesium, calcium • maintain bones and teeth – with calcium, magnesium and vitamin D • support the nervous system – with potassium, magnesium, vitamin B1 • signal transmission between nerve cells – with calcium • maintain nails, hair and skin – with zinc • support electrolyte balance – with magnesium • support heart function – with vitamin B1 • maintain normal blood pressure – with lots of potassium and little sodium • reduce tiredness and exhaustion – with magnesium • support energy metabolism – with magnesium, calcium, vitamin B1 • support the immune system – with vitamin D, zinc • support psychological function (thinking, feeling) – with magnesium • support the digestive enzymes in the intestines – with calcium >> For the full list of all 30 health effects Excellent price-active ingredient ratio Many other base products appear cheaper at first glance. High-dose vitamin D drops - for the immune system and bones* 2000 IU (50 µg) vitamin D3 per drop ✓ With vitamin D from Germany in pharmacopoeia quality ✓ Optimally bioavailable and stable ✓ Good for bones, muscles and the immune system* ✓ Expertise + experience: first vitamin D3 oil in German pharmacies (since 2013), Forte oil since 2017 ✓ Very good price-dose ratio: 640 drops, vegetarian 20 ml (640 drops with 2000 IU vitamin D3 each) Only 12% have good vitamin D3 levels, in winter it is less than 5% Diet contributes little to vitamin D supply; UVB sunlight is crucial for the skin's own synthesis. A deficiency is particularly common in winter, but factors such as sun protection or a dark skin type can also inhibit vitamin D synthesis in summer. Studies show that endogenous production is often insufficient, even in summer: Only 12% of the German population achieves the annual average vitamin D level of over 75 nmol/l (1,2) recommended by leading scientists, and in winter, even less than 5%. The lower limit of at least 50 nmol/l recommended by the German Nutrition Society (DGE) is achieved year-round by only 38% of Germans.(3) Experts also disagree on the correct intake recommendation. In fact, this depends on many factors: baseline value, age, weight, sun exposure, skin color, etc. The DGE recommends a serum level of at least 50 nmol/l and 800 IU (20 µg) of vitamin D daily (from the age of 2, if endogenous synthesis is lacking). The renowned American Geriatrics Society recommends that all people aged 70 and over take 4000 IU (100 μg) of vitamin D daily (from all sources) to maintain a good serum level of at least 75 nmol/L. This corresponds to the daily intake established by the European Food Safety Authority (EFSA) as safe (tolerable) for people aged 11 and over. (1)Holick et al. J Clin Endocrinol Metab (2011) 96(7):1911-30. (2)Bischoff-Ferrari et al. Am J Clin Nutr (2006) 84(1):18-28. (3)Rabenberg et al. Who should pay particular attention to their vitamin D levels? • Everyone in months with low UV radiation (October to March) • People who spend most of their time indoors or who cover their skin • Users of sunscreen (SPF 10 reduces vitamin D production by 90%) • People with dark skin • Pregnant and breastfeeding women, babies and small children • Women in/after menopause • Overweight people • Seniors A vitamin D blood test (at the doctor, in the pharmacy or a self-test) can provide clarity. Vitamin D oil - for the immune system* and reduced risk of falls** *The vitamin D3 contained in Dr. Jacob's Vitamin D3 Oil Forte contributes to the following normal bodily functions: • Immune system • Maintenance of muscles • Maintenance of bones and teeth • Plays a role in cell division **Falls are a risk factor for bone fractures in men and women, especially from the age of 60. An increased risk of falls in old age can be related to vitamin D supply. A daily intake of 800 IU of vitamin D from all sources leads to a reduced risk of falls associated with physical instability and muscle weakness from the age of 60. Proven quality at a fair price. In 2013, Dr. Jacob's was the first manufacturer to bring a vitamin D3 oil to German pharmacies. This was later followed by the higher-dose Vitamin D3 Oil Forte. The vitamin D3 used corresponds to pharmacopoeia quality and comes from Germany. Regular analyses confirm the long-term stability of the vitamin content. With 640 drops per bottle, Dr. Jacob's Vitamin D3 Oil Forte is very economical. One drop contains 2000 IU (50 μg) of vitamin D3. MCT oil for optimal protection and better absorption. To improve the absorption of the fat-soluble vitamin D3, we use a high-quality MCT oil made in Europe from coconut oil. Together with the natural vitamin E family (tocopherols), this oil protects sensitive fat-soluble vitamins and optimizes their absorption. Dr. Jacob's vitamin oils are easy to handle, ideal for people with swallowing difficulties. They are supplied in glass bottles with glass pipettes for precise dosing. Perfect combination: The ideal partner for vitamin D. Not only vitamin D3 contributes to the maintenance of normal bones, but also vitamin K2. Both work synergistically and are best taken in combination, as in Dr. Jacob's Vitamin D3K2 Oil, Dr. Jacob's Vitamin D3K2 Oil forte, Dr. Jacob's Vitamin K2D3 Oil (for increased vitamin K2 requirements), and Dr. Jacob's Vitamin DEKA Oil (with vitamins A and E as natural tocopherols). Calcium metabolism interacts closely with magnesium and potassium. Magnesium supports the maintenance of normal bones and the normal function of nerves and muscles. Potassium contributes to the normal function of muscles and the nervous system, as well as to the maintenance of normal blood pressure. According to the National Nutrition Survey 2 (NVS2), a deficiency in these minerals is common (4). Therefore, vitamins D3 and K2 are best combined with the appropriate minerals, such as those contained in Dr. Jacob's Base Powder. (4) National Nutrition Survey 2 (MRI 2008).
