Like lemongrass and citronella, palmarosa belongs to the grass family. Due to its high geraniol content, the essential oil is unfortunately also misused to adulterate rose oil. The scent of organic palmarosa has a seductive quality, creating a gentle, relaxing, and invigorating effect. It's an excellent essential oil for skin care and as a bath additive.
