Australian lemon myrtle has a relaxing and stimulating effect, and the dosage is crucial. In strong dilution, it has a calming effect; in higher doses, it can have a stimulating effect. The essential oil from the lemon-scented leaves is valued in aromatherapy for its diverse uses, including as a winter protection fragrance with a feel-good factor.
Application
For skin applications, highly diluted (0.5%), in the fragrance lamp pure or mixed 1-1-1 with lavender and mandarin red for calming.
