Essential oils

Tips and blends for using essential oils.

Essential oils

They are complex mixtures of active substances formed in plants. They aid their reproduction (attracting insects), help regulate temperature by creating a "microclimate," and protect against viruses and bacteria. They determine the smell and taste of the entire plant. We perceive them in everyday life, primarily in the form of spices and personal care products.

The essential oils are extracted from the plant through distillation, pressing, or extraction. They are used for room fragrances, in the production of medicinal products, body oils, soaps, baths, and more.

Depending on their composition, they affect the body and mind:

  • Lavender & Rose – balancing
  • Rosemary & Clary Sage – vitalizing
  • Jasmine & Ylang Ylang – sensually beguiling
  • Chamomile & Marjoram – relaxing
  • Lemon & Peppermint – refreshing
  • Stone pine & cedar – strengthening
  • Bergamot, Orange & Vanilla – mood-enhancing
  • Cajeput & Eucalyptus – loosening

It's incredibly fun to work with natural fragrances!
