<p>Chyavanprash is a traditional Ayurvedic fruit puree surrounded by numerous legends. It is <strong>one of the most famous Ayurvedic recipes</strong> and was recorded over 2,000 years ago in the Charaka Samhita, a widely read Ayurvedic classic.</p>
<p>An essential ingredient of Chyavanprash is amla (Latin: Emblica officinalis, German: Indian gooseberry), which is revered as a sacred fruit in India. Amla is the Ayurvedic superfood said to have a balancing effect on all three doshas.</p>
<p><strong>Recommended intake:</strong><br>
Take one teaspoonful of 8 g twice daily (equivalent to 16 g daily). This daily intake contains 3.6 g of amla and 243 mg of polyphenols. Do not exceed the recommended daily intake. Food supplements are not a substitute for a balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle.
