Mandukaparni - Centella asiatica - is a perennial plant of delicate, herbaceous growth with a stem that grows creeping on the ground and bears both leaves and roots at the nodes, with small red to white flowers and oval to spherical fruits. The leaves are used in Ayurvedic nutrition. The powder from the above-ground plant parts, which is finely and gently ground (below 40°C) in our production, comes from our Indian and Sri Lankan fair trade and organic projects.

According to Ayurveda, this product correlates at the level of the harmonious balance of the doshas¹ through the balance of the six tastes. It provides a bitter taste.

¹Doshas are Ayurvedic principles that have no equivalent in modern science.

Recommended consumption:

Take 4 capsules twice daily between meals with warm water. The daily intake contains 61.78 mg of polyphenols².

The legislature has not yet set an NRV value (reference amount for daily intake) for secondary plant substances. The amount stated here corresponds to traditional Ayurvedic recommendations.
