A strengthening, tonic oil for mental and physical exertion. All thyme varieties help with typical winter symptoms. Due to its high concentration, it is best blended with other, lighter essential oils. Thyme loves plenty of sun and rocky soils and is found growing wild, especially around the Mediterranean. Because of its diverse medicinal properties, monks cultivated thyme in their monastery gardens. Farfalla collects wild thyme for this essential oil in the Cévennes and Haute-Provence regions. Thyme linalol, geraniol, and thujanol are considered mild varieties of thyme.
Application
For room fragrance and personal aromatherapy. Consult the specialist literature for use in aromatherapy!
Tips:
- use for inhalation in case of winter ailments
- For free breathing, mix 2 drops with 10ml of Basic Organic Care Oil and rub it into the chest area before going to bed - if you suddenly feel discouraged, simply smell the cap of the bottle
