Organic Hen of the Woods (Maitake) - Liquid Extract Syn.: Maitake, Leaf Polypore, Spatula-capped Polypore, Kumotake, Huai Su Gu Contents: 100 ml glass bottle The new generation of innovative medicinal mushroom products • New, innovative manufacturing process • Combines the advantages of ethanol, cold and hot water extraction • The end product is alcohol-free • Better bioavailability - the ingredients are more easily absorbed by the body • 100% natural, plant-based ingredients from organic farming • No added sugar (naturally contains sugar 1) • Nothing inside - our liquid extracts contain only the Maitake mushroom ingredients and plant glycerin • Free from chemical-synthetic, radioactive and microbiological-bacterial contamination 2 1) The mushrooms used for these products naturally contain carbohydrates and sugars, including polysaccharides / beta glucans) 2) According to laboratory analysis by the AGROLAB laboratory group, our liquid extracts do not contain any impurities No trace of pesticides, PAHs (polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons - plasticizers), or radioactive radiation was detectable. This means that these substances are not only below the legally permitted limit, but are not detectable in the product at all. Detailed analysis reports are available upon request. Recommended intake: Dissolve 5 ml (1 teaspoon) of the henbane liquid extract daily in a glass of water, fruit juice, or other beverage, 30 minutes before meals. During periods of increased nutrient requirements, or if you want to combine several varieties, the intake can be increased to up to 10 ml twice daily (2 teaspoons twice daily, morning and evening). Due to the improved bioavailability, the body absorbs the same amount of polysaccharides and other Chaga mushroom ingredients with just 1 teaspoon (5 ml) of our new liquid extract as when consuming approximately 38 mushroom powder capsules. Our liquid extracts are produced using a unique, proprietary process. This innovative manufacturing technology sets our products apart from other Chaga preparations. For the first time, this new technology allows all of Chaga's organic and inorganic components to be extracted and concentrated in liquid form. This creates a holistic Chaga mushroom extract of the highest quality. Previously available powder extracts are pure hot-water extracts and contain only the water-soluble mushroom components, primarily the polysaccharides. Other valuable lipophilic substances, such as poorly water-soluble triterpenes and fat-soluble vitamins, are missing from conventional powder extracts. Our new organic medicinal mushroom liquid extracts, however, contain not only polysaccharides and peptidoglycans, but also many other valuable organic substances found in the mushrooms. These include essential amino acids, triterpenes, minerals (Ca, P, Na, K), and trace elements (Fe, Zn, Cu, Mn, Se), as well as vitamins (ergosterol - a precursor to vitamin D2). The new formula also improves bioavailability, i.e., how well the ingredients contained in the extract can be absorbed and utilized by the body. Our novel and innovative manufacturing process creates a product with which the entire spectrum of mushroom ingredients can be ideally absorbed by the body in a highly concentrated liquid form. Innovative extraction process: The Maitake mushrooms are cultivated on certified raw materials that come from 100% organic farming and are gently dried after harvest to preserve the ingredients as much as possible. The next step is alcoholic extraction. We use only pure bioethanol, distilled from organically grown grain, as the extraction agent. This extraction step takes several days, during which the alcohol-soluble ingredients are released from the mushrooms. The mushrooms are then filtered off and prepared for the next extraction step. The alcohol from the extract is evaporated through distillation to ensure the final product is alcohol-free. In the next step, the remaining mushrooms are extracted with water; this process dissolves the water-soluble substances from the mushroom material. At the end of the production process, the two extracts are combined and homogenized with organic vegetable glycerin from sunflower seeds. Glycerin is a completely body-friendly substance that encloses the vitamin and mineral molecules and prevents quality defects from affecting the ingredients during storage. Glycerin also supports absorption, so that valuable ingredients can be absorbed even in cases of intestinal problems, and it gives the liquid extract a pleasant flavor. ABOUT THE MUSHROOM Scientific name: Grifola frondosa Synonyms: Leaf polypore, Spatula-capped polypore, Maitake, Kumotake, Huai Su Gu Distribution and habitat in nature: Maitake is found primarily on stumps or at the base of dead or dying deciduous trees such as oaks, elms, maples, birches, and sometimes even larches. In isolated, very rare cases, Maitake has also been found on pines. Suitable substrate: Hardwood (particularly suitable: oak, beech, plum, chestnut, maple, elm, alder, birch) Uses: Edible mushroom, medicinal mushroom Several centuries ago, the Maitake was considered a truly unique species, especially in Asia. One reason for this is its unusual, bush-like shape, which allows the mushroom to adapt particularly well to its environment and thus provides excellent camouflage. Second, its constituents made it so valuable that its locations were kept strictly secret by collectors. Today, the Maitake is known in Asia, as well as in Europe and America, as a delicious, fleshy edible mushroom, distinguished by its high nutritional value and medicinal properties. For this reason, this mushroom has also aroused great interest in the pharmaceutical industry and has been a valuable research subject in Korean, Japanese, and American studies for several years. The fruiting bodies are brownish to dark gray in color. Numerous overlapping caps with a diameter of 2–10 cm sprout from each mushroom stem. The young fruiting bodies taste particularly delicate. Fully grown maitake can be dried and prepared as tea. Under particularly good conditions, Grifola frondosa can produce fruiting bodies weighing 500 g or more. The woodruff contains many polysaccharides such as beta-glucan, grifolin, and grifolan, as well as large amounts of ergosterol and provitamin D. Taxonomy: Class: Basidiomycetes, Subclass: Agaricomycetidae, Order: Polyporales, Family: Meripilaceae, Genus: Grifola, Species: Grifola frondosa. Spores: white, slightly elliptical, smooth, and glassy; 6-7 x 3.5-5 µm.
